The movie’s current Indian budget is set at Rs 400 crore. As of Wednesday, it had already earned over Rs 373 crore in India from its Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi versions, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
In its opening week, Salaar brought in Rs 308 crore. The film continued to earn an estimated Rs 5.25 crore on its second Wednesday, as well as Rs 9.62 crore on its second Friday, Rs 12.55 crore on its second Saturday, Rs 15.10 crore on its second Sunday, Rs 16.60 crore on its second Monday, and Rs 6.45 crore on its second Tuesday.
“Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire” has surpassed the Rs 650 crore gross milestone in terms of box office earnings worldwide. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan posted the most recent global receipts on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “After #2Point0, #KGFChapter2, #RRRMovie, and #Baahubali2, Salaar becomes the fifth highest grossing film from South Africa, surpassing Baahubali and Jailer’s lifetime figure of Rs 650 crore.”
Jagapathi Babu and Tinnu Anand play significant roles in the movie as well.
‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel and ‘Baahubali’ actor Prabhas have worked together on a film before, but this is their most ambitious project to date. It centers on two friends who, for various reasons, become enemies and is set in the made-up city of Khansaar.

Vijay Kiragandur produces the movie under the Hombale Films label. Though ‘Dunki’ starring Shah Rukh Khan is a fierce rival, ‘Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire’ has done well at the box office.
After 13 days, Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is reportedly worth over Rs 375 crore at the global box office. On December 21, the day before Prabhas’ “Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire,” the film opened in theaters.
